algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all,

is it possible to create loadcases with different load/support combinations in one model?

E.g.:

Supports S1, S2 and S3

Loads L1 and L2

Loadcase 0: L1, S1, S2

Loadcase 1: L1, L2, S3

Thanks,

Daniel

The whole idea of load cases and combinations is based on "the principle of superposition". In your case, since the support will need to change, the whole static system really isn't the same. Therefore, the two combination you mentioned are basically two different models. The result of each model cannot be simply combined linearly.

I think you can just create two separate model to do the analysis.
