algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I am making my load combinations through the model view and LCFactor. I was wondering how could I take the elements' resulting forces for the load combinations? Using Beam Forces, I can only document the results for each load case separately, not the combination.

Does anyone have an idea about that?

Thanks,

Marina

Hi Marina,

you can only extract Beam Forces for the load cases that were input into the model. The Model View is only a visual preview of the results. One workaround to extract results for load combinations is to set another load case that includes the specific load values for that combination. For example, LC0 - Gravity, LC1 - Superimposed, LC2 = Gravity+Superimposed, then you can extract the numerical results for LC2.
