algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I have a list matching problem which I can't seem to solve.  It seems like the Branch Compare component might help but I can't figure it out.

See attached image.  The point list is the result of an intersection with 175 surfaces which results in 17 intersections.  I want to put a 3D text tag at each one of these point locations, however, I want the numbers to match the branch structure ID.  Can someone help?  thanks

Hi

try this

Hi bg,

I'm confused. You've got 175 numbers, but only 17 points. How can they possibly match up?

If you want to show the paths as text on the screen, why not just plug the ParamViewer output into the [T] input?

You'll need to Graft the T parameter as the output of the ParamViewer is always a list of paths. Though you could also Flatten the [L] input.

Thanks to you both, thats exactly what I needed.  I didn't realize the param viewer had an output.  To clarify, David, I wanted to match up only the numbers that correspond to the 17 intersection points that I'm interested in, so you'll see in my param viewer, those numbers are not sequential, they jump all over.

thanks
