algorithmic modeling for Rhino

list searching

I'm trying to search for 4 neighbours (see picture) of every plane in a list so my definition workes for all planes and just for one.

Any tips, tricks or solutions?

I don't know if it will work in this case but you coud try to evaluate a point on each surface and then sort them by distance...
