algorithmic modeling for Rhino

List item issue

Yesterday I created a model using lots of 'list items' to draw lines between points. Today I opened the model and the lines are all connecting to different points. Is this because the points in the lists have changed order? How do I avoid this?

Are you using some sort of Pipeline Component to reference your points from Rhino?

I used a pipeline for the Rhino points of the column bases. I used multiple list items for the tops of the columns to drawn beams between them ..I know this is very inefficient but I'm new to this.

This is why the order is changing.

You should build into your definition a sorting algorithm after the pipeline so that you always get the same results
