algorithmic modeling for Rhino
It should be possible. This post http://thebuildingcoder.typepad.com/blog/2010/11/project-vasari-api... mentions that there is a powerful API for .net. So it should be quite easy to create your own blocks to export things to vasari and back then.
Expect a bit of heavy coding though. I haven't seen any off-the-shelf plugins for it, so you would have to write it yourself.
If the API is .net, then there should be many ways of doing it. The question is what is it that you want to exploit from Vasari? That can start to set up a protocol for data exchange. In the geco example, there is the component for Exporting the Mesh from GH to Ecotect. In this exchange UTO had to translate from what Grasshopper/Rhino understand as a Mesh to what Ecotect understands as a mesh. Certainly Vasari will understand Geometry differently than Grasshopper. Everything can probably be reduced down to points and how those points organize themselves to form more complex geometry...
