Linking Grasshopper to a FE Software

Dear all,

I am trying to link the Grasshopper platform to one of the most useful 'Open Source' and power FE softwares which are widely being used among Earthquake Engineering researchers named as 'OpenSees'. The software was introduced at UC Berkeley and being developed and used by a large number of researchers. OpenSees is primarily written in C++.

I decided to start a discussion and ask anyone who might have an experience before about  to share his/her idea. Also, you are quiet welcome to share your idea and give comments about how it could be possible to do so.
