Linkage system - not sure how to make this work...

Hello,

I'm new to grasshopper and I tried looking on the forum for anything that is similar, but did not find anything.

I have this linkage system - seen below:

However, I want the rhino version with the help of grasshopper (and I was looking around and saw maybe kangaroo could help me?) to move the joints and bars so there would be a compression/expansion seen like the images below. I would like all teh joints and bars to move like that.

Aside from that, I would also want this system to "pulse" - like a heart. Need help on that as well.

How would I go about doing this?

I have attached teh rhino version below. If anyone could help me in any way, that'll be great!

Thank you Daniel for the "pulsing" movement definition. It is very awesome! Could I add it to the system I already made in Rhino? I'm sorry if this is a really stupid question, I'm very new to grasshopper and am trying to learn it as much as I can.
