algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I'm a rookie and have used a day to try to figure out the following (without and progress)

I have two twisting none planar curves which I would like to connect with multiply numbers of lines. The lines are to be distributed evenly along the curves and the lines are also set to have a certain length. My problem is to make these lines in a fixed length. I can divide the curve but while trying to connect them I get lost in solutions. 

And I've probably been making it more complicated than it needs to be (I took over an other persons file..)

I would be very glad if someone bothered to help me..

Your task is somehow over-determined.

Unless you have two copies of the same curve, it is much unlikely you can achieve all this at the same time.

If this is the case, you just move your curve to the desired distance, divide them both equally and connect the points one by one.

If your curves are random-shaped as I suppose, you can only divide one of them into equal segments and see if there is a solution of a connecting line with a given distance. For each point there might be 0 to n solutions depending on the shape of your curve. So at this point, how do you want to handle none or multiple solutions?

Also note, the points on the second curve do not need to be in the same order as the first set.
