algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Line tangent to 2 curves (no circles)
Hi all,
i have a problem which i'm not able to solve by my self and where i could't find someting similar, so i Hope somebody can help me! :-)
I try to create a line which is tangent to 2 curves (like the rhino command). In GH is a
component "Tangent Lines EX" which works fine on circles but not on curves....
The Curves are looking pretty much like circles, but they arent...
This is what i want to achieve:
I know, since the curves are pretty much like circles, why not just create approximated circles and use the "TanEX" component.... well actually i did this but in some cases the deviation from the curve and the circle is to large, so i have to use the curve...

For this particular scenario you can use [Convex Hull]

thx! I've never thought about using convex hull for this.... well actually i never used it before :-)
