Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello! 

I have been lurking for quite a while now, yet haven't found quite of a topic for this kind of a problematic. 

The goal is to create a line, which acts more or less like rope, or even like "rubbber rope"
Does anyone know how could u create this kind of situation within grasshopper? 
The further the endpoints of the line are, the "stiffer" it is. The closer the points are, the more "loose" they get. 


The paber drawing kind of shows the "Side-view of desired thing.

2 ways I've tried to achieve this so far. 

So yeah, the rope should act according to the "rope physics" - yet if certain length is achieved, then it wont turn "loose"
