Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,
I want to color code some results on some polylines (for example, its length). I can do this with the gradient component but it's hard to pick out a particular zone when there are a lot of colors.

I plan to loft a pipe on the polylines of varying diameters to better visualize the data. Unfortunately, this crashes GH/Rhino.

Any suggestions on what types of solids/surfaces might be lighter so not to crash the software?

Thanks

Hi

As allways my solutions are not the best, neither the optimal!. If its for the final result, you could split your geometries in smaller groups. And link the colour of the last element to the first od the second group... and like that recursively to the end. I know its not a proper solution, no even an answer to your question... but could work.

Sorry, I'm sure people around will have more thick answers
