LET ME SHOW SOME SKIN

Hi!! Actually I'm working on weaire-phelan geom and I wanna "add" some kind of skin or a offset structure that would be responsive related to X attractor.

I took some geom and modified it in 3dstudiomax to clarified my idea [the last one is what I looking for]. Take a look and please gimme some help (feel lost).

By combining perhaps with other plug-ins like weaverbird you should be able to achieve something similar. If I can, I'm happy to assist if you get stuck.

Thank u for the suggestion (and sorry the delay) was very helpful about use weaverbird. I got what I want but I'm gonna look for something else but 'til now..ty.

I recommend you to use the StructDraw plugin, from Jon's page to make the weaire-phelan part.
To get the wire structure and the "skin" part you might use Weaverbird, with it u can mae the offset and adjust the radius of that offset.

Thanks for the concern, the first two images in the discussion were maden by StructDraw weaire-phelan option , I got a -skin- using Weaverbird (the last image above) but now I wanna do a -responsive skin-. Precisely, the offset that u mention is one of the parameters (A B C D) I want to change with respect of certain attractor point. Any idea?

Hi, Im an architecture student and for my graduation project I need some facade on to my dodecahedrons. I really like yours. Actually I have a surface and I divided it by hexagonal grid and I put the dodecahedrons with hexagonal cells' center point. However now I want them to be attach each other by their sides like in yours. I have them intersecting and I need your help. Could you please tell me how can I fit them side by side at least? If you could give me the definition I would appreciate.
