algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi guys,
I have looked through different solutions posted on forum but still cannot solve my problem. Im trying to do a simple simulation but still I receive the error: Solution Exception - Index out of range.
Any suggestions?
Much apprectiade,
Lukasz

Hi Lukasz,
There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with your simulation - it is well set up. When you press reset and start the timer it runs. Also - the timer is set to 1 second, which is quite slow.
If you have the latest version of Kangaroo, you can also just double click the main kangaroo component to bring up the remote timer, which replaces the reset toggle and gh timer.
Hope that helps,
Daniel
Hi Daniel,
thank you for the response.
the thing is that after restarting the simulation, then setting reset to 'False' and turning on the timer, the error occurs again...
Is the definition working for you on your computer?
Best,
Lukasz
Oh I found the issue - apparently Kangaroo works with milimeters and welds nearby vertices, whilst I had my rhino model in metres - what was causing the problem.

Glad you found the solution, and thanks for following up.
I'd been meaning to change that, but had forgotten - thank you for reminding me.
(currently if you supply a tolerance using the Kangaroo settings component it uses that value, but if not it uses the tolerance from the absolute tolerance of the active Rhino document, which I guess can cause problems in cases like this).
