Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

I have been having trouble with kangaroo and meshes for a while now, i find it hard to work with meshes because i often need their boundaries to be precise but to still have a relatively large amount of subdivisions on them... I attached a grasshopper file, i'm trying to make a pressured skin from a polyhedron (that would sit over a smaller version of the same polyhedron...) is there any way of making this work ? Maybe i am using the wrong method, i was trying to find a way to trim the meshes so they would have the boundaries of the original polyhedron faces, then i would need to weld the meshes together probably ? is there any other way of doing this ?

Any pointers, advice and help would be greatly appreciated !

Thanks, Nicholas
