Hi Gabriel,

A few things to try -

Unblock both the .dll and the .gha by right clicking in Windows File Explorer

Run a search for any previous versions of the dll (not just in the components folder) and delete them.

Please let me know if this fixes the issue

I also had this problem recently. In addition to Daniel's comment you should make sure that you're placing the .dll file and the .gha file in the correct grasshopper components folder. To make sure it's the correct folder, in Grasshopper go to File-->Special Folders-->Components Folder and place them there and then make sure they are unblocked. I believe the location of this folder changed with Rhino 5 and the newest grasshopper version. Good luck!

hey David i unblocked both the .gha and the .dll file and still the problem remains

and Chris i aslo checked they were in the right folder without any success

any other suggestion guys?

Did you try running a search on  your hard drive for previous versions ? (just search for 'Kangaroo')

A copy of an older version of the .dll could be causing problems even if located in other folders, such as Downloads

i search and delete all of my past kangaroo files, and still the error legend appears evrytime i open grasshopper

FIXED! i did it

thanks a lot i wasnt doing it from grasshopper/open/special components

i was doing it from the internet explorer page
