algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi there!

I'm new to grasshopper and I have been playing with some definitions for my Masters thesis project. I created a mesh using kangaroo but want to add some gravity on the vertices to transform it, as shown in the gh file attached. However, when I run Kangaroo the following error happened.

1. Solution exception:Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.
Parameter name: index

Can you please help me fix this? I have a deadline in a week. Big thanks in advance!

Could you explain a little more what the intended result is?

Sure, so I want to apply unary force on certain points on the mesh so that the areas around the points can be pressed down to form a slope. I don't know what's the best way to do this though. This mesh is going to be the outer skin of the building. I just want a sloping roof effect.

If the aim is just to keep the edge lengths of the mesh fixed, while folding it into some new shape you could use the Grab tool.

The attached file uses the latest Kangaroo release. If you hold down the Alt key you should be able to drag points with the left mouse button.

Btw, I created the mesh in the rhino file using the new origami example definition you created, but using my own pattern. The definition is awesome. Thank you so much for sharing that!
