Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Anyone else run into the problem of .jpg and .jpeg that are exported from grasshopper being corrupted? (Mainly when opening them in photoshop)

I'm talking about exporting from either "Hi-Res screenshot" or images created from a slider animation.

It happens every time I try to export with the format of jpg (or jpeg as well)

this happens to me all the time i cannot figure it out. does anyone know why. when i output a screenshot from GH it opens fine in image viewer as well as quicktime but not Photoshop or any other adobe program
I'd like to know too. I'm using the standard Windows DotNET image saver functions, I don't even distinguish between different formats internally.

FYI, this is still an issue. Just ran into it today.

Same, it will open fine in image viewer but will not open in Photoshop at all.
photoshop says "...there is an invalid jpeg marker found". are you writing any custom values
Yup,

Does anyone have a resolution to this? I have a whole bunch of images that came out of the animation feature but now can't stack them using photoshop.

Anyone got any ideas?
I've had success when exporting to a .png file instead of a .jpg. Try opening that in Photoshop... then you can resave in whatever format you choose.
any type but jpeg seams to be ok. also the jpeg's will open in windows image viewer or quicktime where you can re-save to jpeg that will then open in PS.

In any case you don't need to re-export. Just run >rename *.jpg *.png in cmd at the proper directory(wherever your files are)

Thanks for this Luis!
