Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi there,

I am working on a definition what makes it possible to automate make joints in a spaceframe for 3Dprinting. There are already a lot of posts about joints and it helped me a lot for understanding, Thank you all for sharing. However it was still possible to make it a little bit different but i have trouble with the last part of the definition.

In the part of joints where the different tubes come togheter with SUnion its seems that there some joints disappear. maybe it is because the length of the joint isn't long enough what causes an open breb or maybe it's in the spaceframe defenition that there is a wrong connection is between the lines but i can't find a solution.

Below you can find the definition along with a few pictures.

Thanks in advance,

Tipp Bongers

2 joints was not working

couldn't see where is it going wrong

but .... when i just re-oriented your flattened joints, i got all of them right , all 25

Thank you for helping but i can't understand how it is possible that the orient component can solve this problem. Is it possible to zoom a little bit out in grasshopper to see how you connected the orient component?

just swapped A & B from last orient

Really cool project, keep us posted about the outcome!
