Joining curves with same start/end points to form closed polylines?

So I have a set of closed curves which I projected onto a surface, now they have openings at the edges, so I have extracted the edges from the surface, found intersection points between the two sets and shattered the bounding edge(note that it might be wrong it still produces dot size lines at the intersection). So now I want to join curves which have same star end points? or two matching points? to form closed polylines. This has caused a headache for me for the past two days. Another side problem I ran into  from lack of grasshopper experience in the extended script bellow the first one which does the same effect but I am trying to do it for multiple surfaces instead of one. I started realising that I just don't really know how branching works and because of it curve closest point is not working for me properly.

How did you solved this problem?

Cheers

I am curious too, running into the same problem. How did you solve this?

Thanks in advance!
