algorithmic modeling for Rhino

join every other point

can anyone give me any tips on how to join every other point? I have tried all the lists and searched through all my tutorials but I'm just not getting anywhere - any help is gratefully received. 

I am trying to connect point 0 to 1, 2-3, 4-5 etc so i get a 'finger' effect.

I would create a polyline  with all the points.

Explode the Polyline and then cull every other segment with a Cull Pattern component
