algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi everyone,
Currently rolling robots around. I am just having an issue with pausing a counter. The purpose is for ANEMONE, but thats not so important. More important is that I need a TIMER in the counter, and need to be able to pause the counter also. TOGGLE TRUE/FALSE works fine, but i need an automatic trigger. I am trying to send a true/false command through but currently it is cancelling out the timer.
just a little screen shot attached. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

It's tricky, especially since the global timer block is not part of the public SDK.
I attached a file with a C# component that either disables or enables all timers in the same document.
wow... its perfect. thank you! absolutely brilliant.
David, and anyone else interested, here is my definition with your C# component included in case anyone is curious. I apologise for it being so messy, it is a long work in progress and still awaiting organisation.
now I am trying to break down the sequence of movements into 3 stages, each stage sequenced by a timer. Ideally each full stage will take 10 seconds, with a full simulation of events broken down. I am not really certain how to achieve this but it should be fun.
If anyone understands what I mean, and can suggest anything, it would be much appreciated.
Best,
Ian
okay, so i have completed said task. the only thing that cant be seen in the image attached is the remapping of the time - a 10 second timed COUNTER, plugged into ANEMONE, with each iteration at of the counter at 0.1, and therefore each iteration of ANEMONE at 1 (every 10 second). This allowed me to have one full set of commands over 10 seconds, with just a preview switch showing each stage. this will allow me to time the commands sent to ARDUINO through FIREFLY.
