algorithmic modeling for Rhino
I have check to make sure the points and the list of obstacles match - they are at the same heights. Maybe I didn't quite grasp how isovist really works?
If I had more time I would like to try to make a python attempt but I'm only testing to see if I can use isovist as an genome for galapagos - breps are generated by a long process which still some how manages to iterate fast enough for me.
At the moment for some reason I am only getting 9 isovist circles, and I should be getting more than 30 (some points are inside the breps, and some fails on brep and plane intersection). I am pretty sure it has to do with my breps but I dont know what it could be.
if you open the gh file, you should see the red marker moving up/ and red brep plane interesection lines move. if not maybe the counter might not be running for some reason. and you should see green isovist circle also moving along with the list with the red markers.
the rhino file link is here- its around 67 mb.

what plugins do you use? get an error for " clean tree"
hm... its just a regular clean tree.
I'm using 0.9.0076. i bet thats the reason. you can just use your version of clean tree.
the only thing is that the clean tree component shouldn't remove empty branch. otherwise the points and the brep/plane intersection won't match.
could you post a picture of the definition? i dont know where to put...
