Isovist

hi,

i have isovist by curve, and it runs on the curve by slider.

i want it to run only between the middle of the cubes ( like in the picture i added) and not on the whole curve.isovist.png

another thing, how can i do that the isovist will get some kind of grade for every point ? like i would have numbers to know how much i seem to others.

and the last thing - how i make the isovist from 2D to 3D? is it possible?

i'm adding the RHINO + GH files.

Hallo,

you could also use SpiderWeb, works only in 2D but enables to connect the isovist analysis to analysis like integration ... and can be combined with space syntax plugin...

also it should outpreform the isovist approche since it uses recursive shadow casting. The more obstacles you have the faster the algorithm works + it doesn't loose precision with distance.
