algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello all,

So i am super stuck on this one..... I want to isolate only the interior middle layer points, excluding all the points on the exterior. There are three levels to this shape, and I want the points from the middle one. Basically, all the points where four rectangles meet.

Obviously the shape is dynamic, so I need a dynamic solution that adjusts as it changes.

Thanks!!

I'm not entirely sure which points and which rectangles, but I simplified your file a bit, perhaps you can rephrase the question in this context.

Very Cool! thanks, the way I created before was extremely convoluted. I did figure it out in this context, basically I have it so the shape turns into a pyramid constructed from the triangles. But now, with that problem solved, I have a different one.

I want to isolate and then pipe only the exterior lines of the pyramid, (to make a structure with an empty space in the middle. but the way the data is structure makes this very tricky. Any help would be much appreciated!

Okay figured it out, in case any young Buckminster fuller types wants to make a dynamic geometric pyramid
