algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Is it possible to create a GH script that wireframes an object?

I'm offering the poor Bunny, for a try :)

U can use Mesh edge component and meshPipe them.Or else weaverbird's picture frame component.

And if we are talking about a big bunny > the Dark Side > ... > a BunnyTruss (shown in "axial" display mode because Rhino is very slow [case: MERO + full details + ...]).

Yikes! .... that's nice Peter for simple geometry, but will cause a lot issues geometry wise depending on the size of the mesh. Interestingly I'm trying to express the Weaverbird Mesh see my link below:

http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/parametric-distances-with...

which was related to my modification of Hyungsoo Kim's original script

ParametricDistances+thick.gh

but will cause a lot issues

No it doesn't (always having AEC and NOT artistic/academic stuff in mind):

it's all about controlling what to do (in real-life) and reporting (see info panel) struts that are undoable (due to topology or most importantly: due to clash issues) > then (a) either you interactively modify the problematic nodes (achievable only via code) or (b) use some other "coarser" mesh (ditto) or (c) use slimmer struts (if structural capable).

I could mail you an example (using Da Morgada sardines instead of the bunny) but it's a very complex C# code and ... well ... it's rather suitable for freaks.

My new years resolution,  to be less Freaky and less Geeky

oops! I spoke too soon: Now how to get all those Bunny Wireframe sticks to collapse and fall to the floor with collision detection, and captured on Video.... Yikes!

p.s. also my thanks to Shridhar for the 2 solutions

I'll post soon the how had the mighty fallen Kangaroo thingy (+ video option) ... but using sardines instead of that Standford bunny.

Be prepared for the ultimate freak show.

Good news:Get the HocusPocusCollapsus thingy.

Bad news: Where's the C# that manages the frames? > HowHadTheMightyFallen def > is this the actual name? > when I did it? > in what workstation? > why I did it? > where's the sardines?

Ugly news: This is rather unacceptable; blame Alzheimer (and Tequila)).

Note: Load R file first.

Moral: Optimi natatores saepius submerguntur

Hmm ... I must quit Tequila and try Ouzo > file name (and directory and partition and workstation and year and planet) was not what I thought.

Includes a Da Morgada thingy and the usual challenge for the brave:

BTW: although not exactly a collapse case ... but interesting and challenging (see inside > the 1M (sardines) challenge > for the brave > can you do it?).

Only suitable for freaks.

Peter: ....thanks! this should keep me busy and out of trouble :)

BTW: "remotely" related with all these > see this (and take the usual challenge - see inside: 12 cans of sardines for the first who can solve it).

Only suitable for freaks.

BTW: Someday I'll mail you the Mother Goose def that does ultra freaky things ... er ... on things:

foreach (GeometryBase thing in NormalThings){

 thing.Transform(MotherGoose);

 UltraFreakyThings.Add(thing);

}
