algorithmic modeling for Rhino
I would like to create a swarm system with a few types of agents. Agent share similar behavior and generate emergent behavior. I was trying to use Processing but it is quite hard for me to use it given that I don't have Java scripting knowledge.
I tried to script it with hoopsnake. I am wondering if there are any easier way to script a swarm behavior.
Thanks!

My understanding of hoopsnake is that it handles recursion well, which is critical for agent-based systems, but I haven't seen anyone actually use it that way... I'm not saying it hasn't been done, but I haven't seen it. From what I've seen the best way to model behavioral systems in GH is with Python- which is a little easier than Processing.
Ronnie & Gil have a pretty good online course about Python in GH (it's a series of videos that will autoplay after you watch each one, the first one is just an introduction):

Jose Sanchez also has a bunch of tutorials on Python in Rhino with a few on GH as well:

And you can get the components here:

Good luck...
