Into to Grasshopper Webinar - feedback, recording, and files

For those of you that attended the sessions on December 8th and 9th, 2010...

How well did it work for you?

How was the video and audio quality?

What could we improve?

Here is a recording of the Webinar and the supporting files. (If you have a Mac, you will need the Windows Media Components for QuickTime.)

Thanks,

- Bob

I couldn't take part but some of my students reported having had a great experience.
Webminar was very good. The examples were great for a basic level and the progressive explanation was carefully structured, super.

I, myself, miss some more depth and complexity in the examples though. The thing is, there is a bunch of us here who follow the forum, who are somehow mid-experienced users of GH, and I look forward checking examples where really complicated stuff goes on and we are instructed by unexpected use of never-imagined components.

Anyway, I understand that the seminar was 'Intro to GH', so I look forward 'Hardcore GH'!
Hi Bob

first of all i would like to thank you and your team for offering such great help.

I've attended the 8th webinar and it was great in terms of content video and audio.

I guese i'm intermediate level GH user and the webinar for me was still benificial.

What would be great for the future is to make some intermediate to advanced webinars.

you can categorize the areas of interest e.g. (panelization, form finding, responsive design...etc.)

and provide a webinar on these different topics.

Cheers
How well did it work for you?
The Webinar was a great idea and worked fine.
It makes sense for designers like me who are interested in GH.

How was the video and audio quality?
The audio quality was correct but could be improved, I had some terrible periods during the session.

What could we improve?
Categorizing webinars by area of interest is indded a good idea for later.
As a beginner I found some examples quite complex but interesting.

Hope to get some feedback from the support team related to a request I posted on their mail box.

Great experience for me.
Nice done

RS ;o)
Very good.
it was nice, even if i am a bit advanced user...the progress of plugin is also amazing..very good job..webinar not bad as a marketing tool too..hope you guys will never ever fuse with autodesk!!
Very good webinar. I have always wanted to understand how the colour gradient works. Also I learnt about the cherry and flatten components.
I think however, calling it an Intro to Grasshopper is a bit misleading. I did not register initially because I thought I ought not to fill a place up for grasshopper beginners but when I saw the comments from yesterday's attendees, I decided to register for today's seminar and am I glad I did.
Well done David and Mary

Regards
William
Im nerdily excited for the webinar to be posted, i missed it due to timezone difference. But everybody seems to have nothing but good things to say about it.
I got allot out of the webinar. I was hesitant because it was a beginner / intro session. Far from it for me.

The audio and video was fine.

When are the intermediate and advanced sessions ?

Thanks for the webinar, it was a very helpful experience. Audio and video were in very good quality, and David was (as usual) very clear and simple in his explanations.

The only thing I was missing were the .3dm and bitmap files David was working on. Fortunately, I was able to quickly build up my own building for slicing and distance evaluating and to find a bitmap for sampling, but I thing real beginners had a problem to follow those examples because they probably could not play around with the options while David was explaining them. So, maybe it would be helpful next time to transfer those .3dm files to the attendees.

Thanks again for the wonderful experience and looking forward for the next one!

Thanks,

We posted the files after the webinar. See above.

Next time we'll try to have them available ahead.

Hi,

it was great, in those two hours I learnt more than what I was expecting to!

Do you have already plan the next session?
