Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi David,

I want to intersect a series of curves with lines across the x axis. Only the first curve is intersected except for a few stray points on the other curves is this a bug or am I asking the wrong thing?

Best regards,
Danny

Try right clicking on the component and set "Cross Refrence" and if that doesn't work immediately also check the "Lf" input and right click and check the Boolean True or False.
Cross Reference is no good for me as it produces 1 point for each path, where as I need 4 paths with multiple points representing each curve.

Lf boolean doesn't change anything either in this case.
I see what you mean, I get the same problem. I am also wondering now if it isn't a bug because I would imagine it should create the intersections on the original geometry's 4 paths.

And organizing those points back into 4 paths does seem like an unnecasary exercise.
Hi Danny,

You can get it to work by extending those lines and grafting a tree for the curves:

Excellent! Thank you very much. I will try it in the morning.
