algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Het everyone,

does anybody has an idea how could be the way to archive a result like in the image?

I am refering to the lines, that they born gradually. I thought of intersect them and then shatter them but how to do that every third line is cionnect into one?

I dont think its going to be easy. But if you can intersect and shatter the lines, than you can just shorten the lines near the intersection and create an arc to connect the ends. The harder part i think is not the curves, but to decide which lines intersect with which. It will be very hard to do a purely parametric version. I kind of think that those lines in the picture were probably created partly by hand.

If you get started, we can help you solve some specific tasks. Try and do it with just straight lines that intersect. You might even be able to do it with fillet.
