algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Quick question. So I have sets of curves each set has different z axis height. Is there a simple way to intersect curves ignoring z axis? Or I should go messy way and get planes for each set and move the curves to each plane to intersect them?

Yeah If there would be an easy way to ignore z axis while intersecting that would be easy because right now once I get the plane by fitting plane though points the tolerance gets in the way and my sets still dont align. So It would be that I have to move both sets of curves to that plane which would mean the resulting intersections that I get dont even match up to the curves. Further more complicating things
