Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey!

This should be an easier question then my last, hope someone can help :)

Im trying to connect the corresponding points on each level with eachother. I think the jpeg will better explain what i mean.

Thank you!

This is the quintessential case where you should begin using data trees and fancy wires!

Check out the GH Primer 2nd Ed (p36). There's an interpolation example documented.

Good luck and post again if you have any questions.
Hey Taz,

Thanks so much for your post. I have read over the chapter you recommended but my GH knowledge is too basic and im finding it a little complicated.

I have posted the file. Do you think you might be able to talk me through it. (or make notes on the GH file?)

would really be appreciated.

Thanks

Hey Taz,

I have managed to understand the lists a little better and have tried to use them in my model.
So far i have seperated the points but when i move the sliders on the domain component some of the points in the model are no longer highlighted.

I also having trouble connecting the points for some reason any idea why?

Is there any way of making the lists correspond with the divide cmponent, so that when i increase the slider on the divide component, the amount of lists will simultanously increase but using the same logic? Even just writing this sounds complicated, i dont know im explaining myself well but feel free to ask if dont understand me...ahhh!

thanks again!
