algorithmic modeling for Rhino

installing grasshopper

Hi,

 

Today I downloaded the rhino 4.0 evaluation and the latest grasshopper build. However,

I can't get grasshopper to start when I open rhino.

 

This is the first time I have ever used these programs -- I know there probably a basic solution, but I have been searching the web for the last 3 hours and haven't been able to make it work.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of errors are you getting?  How are you trying to start Grasshopper?  If you have already gone through the installation of Grasshopper, you can evoke it by typing 'grasshopper' into the command line.  If there are errors after this, please post them so we can help you further.

Hi Emily,

We'll need a little more information.

  • Did Rhino start?
  • Does the _Grasshopper command auto-complete when you type it?
  • Do you see error messages (if yes, can you post a screenshot)?
