installation problem???

Hi. I am just trying to figure it out what went wrong. I can't figure it out by myself as I tried to check as much as I could. As you can see from the attached file, simple tone generator definition is not even working. Is there any other software to install along with firefly to make it working? or simply I am doing wrong with tone generator?

Any advice is welcome.

Can you describe your system setup? Are you using Rhino 5? and the latest version of Grasshopper/Firefly? Do you have a microphone and/or webcam on your machine? What error messages are shown?

I am using the all the latest software. Rhino 5 and grasshopper,firefly. I don't have microphone and webcam installed on my PC though. I didn't think that might be a reason not working.

error message was following.

object not set to an instance of an object

It's possible that not having a webcam/mic would be causing the issue (especially if you're trying to use the audio tools). My hunch is that it's trying to connect to a microphone, but if you don't have one then it throws an error. Why do you want to use the audio tools without a microphone? You may try getting a plug-in one (maybe one that plugs into a port on your machine) and see if that remedies the problem.
