Input two curves get 'python.runtime.list' as output

Hello, 

I constantly get this result where I get an output of python.runtime.list. 

In this case, I am inputting two curves and I wish to divide each and then draw lines between the pts. Should be simple, I am using a 'for each' operation to pull the first curve, but I get both. of course, I can use a list[0] way, but I still get the python list instead of the pts. 

I can add another python component and simply input 'a = x' and it works, but this is rather annoying. 

How can I use these iterator tools or find the documentation to solve this issue of mine?
