input/output/description does not display when hovering over a button in new build 0.8

Hi, I've found that the input, output, and description does not display when hovering over a button in the workspace (same goes for the toolbar buttons). The problem can be temporarily rectified by restarting rhino but then it stops working again very quickly. Do I have to change one of the preferences, or is this a bug - the hovering pop-ups are very useful for a new user such as myself. Thank you!

I've heard more reports of Tooltips going bad. I don't know where the bug is at the moment, I'll see if I have time to add some extra error-checking code to the next version. I want to release on Monday so I might not make it for 0.8.0051.

This happens to me as well. Someone here recently cleared my insanity with this little bug (Julius almost at the end of the page). If you Alt+Tab you will eventually see the tooltip...navigate to that with Alt+Tab and then do Alt+F4 to close it...then the tooltips should return. See if they return after that...

its a workaround, but it works for me.

i have the same problem too. Sometimes it does not shows hower over help and it just makes me crazy i'm putting panels everywhere to see it. And the solution louis proposed is not working at me. I have close rhino and grasshopper by alt f4 and it even does not works sometimes. It's weird.
