Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everybody

i modeled some basic geometry in grasshopper.

By increasing the number for the V Count of the lofted surface

additional geometry is added to my basic geometry.

I am not sure why this is happening and how to achieve the result I am after shown

in the attached file.

I would appreciate if someone could lead me into the right direction.

Thank you for any assistance!!!!!

Hi. Findie.

See red parts. You shouldn't have flattened Evalute Curve's "p" output.

Hi Hyungsoo
thank you!!!
You made my day :)

Can i ask you why you added
flip and reparameterize
cause it works just fine without flattening the evaluate Input ???

reparameterize---> fix curve domain 0 to 1 regardless of it's length.

Flip---> for unifing surface nomal direction

Thank you for clarifying!!!!

helped me a lot to get a better understanding.

Hi

As Hyungsoo said, basically when your items are matched with those in different branches. Thas a datatree issue. I guess next time you can figure it out easily by this principle.
