Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Dear All

I wonder if anyone could kindly point out what the problem is.

I am using Plane Normal to define the X Axis of an EvaluateSrf component for rotation.

As you can see from the screen shots, the resulting Plane Normal has inconsistent UV directions so some of my objects are rotated in the wrong X Direction (I need X to be horizontal which is correct in some areas).

Any help would be most appreciated.

Many thanks!

the photos are not clear. you mind uploading the file here?

Hi Nguyen Minh

Thanks for your reply.

Sure here are the files, they are actually from Mr. McAdam's tutorial.

if you look at the Rhino file, you will notice the individual UV planes on the srf has inconsistent UV directions which makes the objects rotate in different directions. What I really need is to have the objects rotate along X Axis, which should be oriented horizontally (some are correct! and some are not!!)

Thanks for your help!

Kindest regards

Yutaka
