Importing Data

Hello,

I'm trying to import data from excell. I can stream data from gh to excell, but is there a way to import the data?

Thank you for the direction, however, please excuse my inexperience.

Once I have the components in grasshopper, how do I go about linking them to excell?

For example I am using the list from excell component to try and link a spreadsheet with the desire to generate a series of points. How do you "connect" the two files?

It automatically happens with whatever excel sheet that happens to be open. The instructions included in David Mans definition are very detailed and likely to be better than anything anyone could post here. You basically have to tell the component which excel cells to get data from. Use numbers instead of letters for the columns: Column E would be column 5 (5th letter in the alphabet).
