Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello Grasshopper Community,

In my definition, I have an image sampler picking up blacks and white and making circles on the cell centers of a grid. I would like the grid spacing to be scaled down to equal proportions everywhere the image sampler reads content.

This sounded too hard for me, so I thought I'd ask the forum. Please let me know if you need if any clarification or any more information. Thanks!

Hi.

I'm not sure this is what you are after.

In this way, you can increase or decrease the grid cell radius size.

Thank you for your help, however, this isn't achieving exactly what I'm aiming for.

I'm not entirely sure this is even possible, but let me try to explain a bit better:

Looking at the provided .png, you will see the vertical image sampler component. Right now, I am having the outcome of a grid of circles everywhere there is a shade of gray or darker. The darker the shade, the smaller the circles. But, because the definition is set with only one grid, the small circles are spaced further apart from one another, versus the large circles from each other - because they're on the same grid (If that makes sense).

I guess what I'm saying is the density must remain the same. So the scale of the circles changes, but with that, the spacing doesn't.

Maybe, what you've provided is the answer, and I'm not able to understand how to control it. :|
