algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi there,

I' m trying to evolve a logo in the form of surface frames once horizontally around a facade and I' m struggling with two issues:

1) Somewhere the uv coordinates are being switched. Rotating the logo would work, but still I don' t understand what' s wrong with my "uvs".

2) Somehow at every kink the logo is being rebuilt, even though the surface frames list winds up the whole facade going over the kinks.

Note that I needed to explode the kinked base curve in order to extrude separated surfaces, since sframes defintion wouldn' t accept a single kinked surface. So I thought to overcome the separations by restructuring the lists afterwards.

I appreciate much your help.

Try making it all one surface with rhino's -MergeSrf command (wont work with trimmed surfaces). If you cannot then there is no way as most things in GH evaluate per surface not per polysurface.

I found a way, just marginally fillet the corners of the kinked base curve.

Still I don' t get what' s up with the "uvs", I need to mirror and rotate the logo.
