algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Dear all,

is there a way to output a bitmap image from GH and let the colours be set by some data or geometry? In the attached example I've outlined how I would like to use this.

  1. Some points create a surface (invisible in this example)
  2. The heigh (z-value) determines the colour (greyscale in this example)
  3. This colour information is assembled into an image, and then...
  4. EXPORTED as a BMP, GIF, PNG or similar.

Yeah this should be possible.  You might want to start with Vicente's definition for texture mapping.  Part of the process is creating bmp's.
