Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

If I select three entities in Rhino with the Geometry Parameter!

So, I have the 3 items, one is a Point, the second one is a curve and the last one a Solid = BRep.

So I have a list with these 3 items, how can I select only the BREP, in other words, how can I filter the list and find the only Solid = BREP.

Thanks for your help!

It's the problem you get when you stick to what you know. Only by seeing other's solutions does it expand your grasshopper knowledge.

I too would have liked yours. :)

You could use [Cull Index]

The Equal> Cull Pattern logic seems to fail here, i think its some thing to do with rounding of the numbers by Grasshopper but even that does not make sense as crvs are copies to create duplicates.

How are you thinking you would use Cull Index?

Maybe a [Similarity] is required instead of [Equality]

In your example below you find the [Item Index] for the curve you need to get rid of. Pass this into a [Cull Index] which is effectively the inverse of [List Item]

Thanks, this helped!

Hey Stefano,

Try this, Example is designed to work with crvs, but could be change to work with triangle surface/ meshes etc if you replace the lenght component with and area one.

Hope this helps

Hi Matt,

my basic geometry is triangles, but I have to break them down to curves to work with them, so the first example worked well.

Basically the "Equals" command has an "unequal" output that works well.
