If I have to type i-1 into an expression one more time i might...

After a great exchange with Michael and Pieter and others yesterday, i realized this morning that it wasn't so cozy to have to make a list length component and subtract one from the output.

 

I'm all about zero-based arrays and all - don't get me wrong. Just wanted something a bit more cozy... see attached.

 

dragging the .ghuser file into your grasshopper window should install it to your Set/List with a custom icon.

Thanks gotjosh,

I would recommend changing this from Discussion to Sample and Example Files, as it will and around longer in recent items there. 

If your interested Micheal Pryor has a very similar set of ghuser components that handle Start, Mid and End values and indices of lists

Personally I prefer to use the shortcut "-1" from the Keyword Search facility to get a subtraction component with 1 already assigned to the B input.
