Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

*EDIT*

Nevermind!

*Edit*

Hey all,

So I was grasshopping today and I had to insert some components into the middle of my definition. There was one component that connected to about 20 different components all over the canvas. It got me thinking - it would be super cool if you could right click a component and select something like "replace all connections with..." and then you could select a different component to takes its place. Would save a lot of time/frustration!

OR an equally effective option would be to be able to right-click the input or output of a component and select "isolate parameter(s)" or "Jettison Data" (or something similar) and have all the inputs or outputs disconnect from the component but remain connected to a newly created parameter holder. Like the new parameter holder could sort of pop out of the component and take over the wire connections.

This would make changing definitions and splicing in new components much much more convenient.

What do you guys think?
