Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I have an issue with Trees/Lists, do you have a solution?

Hi,

Firstly, I am new to Grasshopper, but very much enjoying learning it.

My current issue is that I require my input data, shown in the attached screenshot, to look like the output list. The method that I have applied is quite crude I think.

In its current form it works absolutely fine, however when I apply real data there will certainly be far more input values, and this system only works with 9. What I would like to happen is for the list to be formed with any number of input values.

Can anyone explain to me what I have missed that could make this a lot easier?

Thanks very much in advance for any help

You can use the Flatten Tree component. Alternatively, (almost) all grasshopper components provide the option to flatten the data contained in each of its input and output parameters.

Ahh, perfect, I knew I had missed something, that did the trick.

Thanks a lot.

No problem!
