You can run commands from a VB component, but it's typically pretty difficult to harvest the results. Are you looking to get the data produced by the Hydrostatics command?

If you use Solid Difference to remove the portion of your hull above water you can get pretty much.all the data you need.
The volume is your displacement
The centroid of which is your lcb
Extracting the top surface is your wpa
The length and breadth of which is your waterline length and beam
The centroid of which is your lcf
The area of what remains after the extraction of the wpa is your wsa
