How to unroll double curved surface - ex. Ennepers surface

It's doubly curved. Unless your paper is elastic I don't think it's going to work.

Not even if i cut it, or mesh it and unroll the pieces!? :(

You could try folding it from concentric circles

or breaking it up into developable strips

Very inspiring! Amazing art...still it lacks the most important information for me - how to design it so i can fold it. I get that those are concentric circles folded, but it's almost impossible to do these type of origami without the step by step explanation.

at least now i now it's impossible, so i'll stop wasting my time trying to do it
