You could try to sort your points first, use the "Sort Along Curve" tool. This should give you a pointlist that has the right order.

If the Rectangle is a Curve that you can reference in GH then you can use the Sort along Curve component.

Otherwise you can create a circle at the centre of your points (Average them) use the CPCurve component to get the parameter "t" to sort with synchronously.
