algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Guys!
Is there any universal way to put flat patterns (hexagonal, heptagonal and others ) to put them on the waved, irregular - non flat surface?
For example:

I don't doubt your well-meaning pedagogical intentions but as a new user who doesn't request help until I've done exhaustive searching through GH, getting ambiguous answers is like getting salt in a wound. Just sayin.
but the answer was not ambiguous in anyway. There is nothing more direct than a file / screenshot.
"squiggly line thing that looks like it's moving towards a point in the distance."
That would be sooooooooo cool
end points?
Hi Michael,
was this aimed at my icon finder? :)
I was going for a similar approach to Font Finder where you narrow down the search by yes no answers
1) Greyscale vs Colour
2) If colour then Single vs Multiple
3) Arrow(s) vs No Arrows
4) Characters vs No Characters
etc.
I'd almost completed the categorisation when, I kid you not, David Changed all the icons in some way or another
Its a really good idea. Wonder if it could also work like google image search with image. Just drag a screenshot of the component you found online that u cant figure out and it matches it. And yes I saw even more icon updates in newest version, but they are always looking better :)
Thats a pretty great idea.
is an acceptable solution for users if we add the numbers
an example :)
PS .
Brian you have a list of icons?
with respect Alex
